Felted Plus Designer Jewellery A two day Design and Make workshop £80.00 for 2 day event Saturday 10.30am to 4pm Sunday 11am to 3pm Tutor, Morag Lloyds, teaches textiles at Forth Valley College part time,and is a freelance Illustrator and designer the rest of the time. Learn how to be creative with your ideas and to make use of both wet felting and needle felting techniques that will allow you to explore your creativity and make exciting and different textile jewellery pieces. All materials provided ,however bring along any oddments of lightweight fabrics that inspire you and you would like to use, and also please bring a sketchbook and pencil. Tea and coffee provided , but please bring your own lunch or why not eat out in Newburgh, we will stop for an hour. Not suitable for under 18 unless with an adult

Needlefelt...Neck Décor

Neck Décor Explore designs and ideas that use felting techniques combined with recycled fabrics, wools and old jumpers. Tutor, Morag Lloyds, teaches textiles at Forth Valley College part time,and is a freelance Illustrator and designer the rest of the time. Produce some exciting and original pieces of neck wear - could be a necklace, could be a scarf , could be a snood….. could be anything your imagination comes up with! Tea coffee and biscuits provided but please bring along your own lunch or why not eat out in Newburgh , we stop for hours lunch. The choices within this course are
Portfolio building/ for college.
Portfolio building / for business.
Portfolio building /personal projects
Topics covered for all the above and can be chosen from are Jewellery design, Toy design, Accessories, Home furnishing.Textile illustration. and will be tailored to your own personal choice ie for college will be stronger on sketchbook and development work. for business will take time talking about ways of selling and marketing your work including approaching galleries and gift shops, selling online, art licensing, and social media and for personal to help identify your personal project as soon as possible and to be taught how to bring your ideas to life such as in toy design/jewellery design etc spaces will be limited so that each person will get plenty of guidance. This workshop is also ideal for anyone just wanting to have the space and time set aside to develop some work.
Special start up price of 4 full days spread over one month one Sunday each week 100.00 includes all materials but please buy a sketchbook and pencil These classes will be designed to go onto other 2 blocks of advanced and masterclass which will cost slightly more each block.
